Went to my 17 I have tied up on beach at small marina here in La Paz, Mx. I had left mast up, taken mainsail off and stowed, and left jib attached and all four shrouds attached. The long shackle at the furling drum for the jib had broken somehow during the night and the mast fell down hitting the corner of a aluminum bleacher seat and bent the mast slightly and put a dent on the other side of the bend. Slightly meaning, my guess, between 5 and 10 degrees from perfectly straight? Soothing words of infinite repair wisdom from the Windrider repair Gods please. Thank you so much. Windrider Newbee.

Mikey,
I'm Mexican so I'm going to tell you the mexican way.... . Find two trees or two strong post about 3ft appart . Stick the mast between the trees/post . position the part of the mast you want to bend against one of the trees/post . pull like hell till the mast is straight
You have everything to gain, nothing to lose.
