The rotating gooseneck is a DWYER DH353-1S SLIDING GOOSENECK $75.67.... Ordered without the slide and it's parts....You will be attaching your original slide and it's parts to the Dwyer gooseneck.
www.dwyermast.com/items.asp?cat1ID=30&cat1Name=&familyID=3&familyName=DM-1+Boom
You have to take the original gooseneck off and replace it with the DWYER.
However, I discovered that the Slide (the part that goes in the mast track) on the DRYER is a smaller diameter than your original slide, so I adapted the original gooseneck slide to the DRYER (replacing the dwyer slide WITH THE ORIGINAL SLIDE). I also added a large diameter washer behind the shaft fork. Without this, the spring on the other end of the shaft (inside the boom) would pull the square base of the fork into a square recess in the casting, locking it in place and keeping it from rotating 360*. The washer keeps the shaft pulled forward out of the recess so it can rotate freely. (you will understand this better when it is in your hand)
The prepped swiveling Dryer gooseneck can be attached to the boom by drilling four new holes through the boom, into the gooseneck casting and pop riveted.
At the back end of the boom you need to make a simple bracket (1/4" aluminum, 3" x 1.5 ") having a bolt hole in the center for a 3/8" or 1/2" bolt that runs through the bracket and a pvc coupling ....The bracket will have three holes ....the one in the middle for the bolt and two at each end (one for the main sheet and the other a for topping lift).
The coupling needs to have an outside diameter (that can be sanded or filed) to fit inside the boom end.

Drill a hole in the center of the coupling cap for the bolt.
Insert the bolt with a washer through the bracket and the coupler.
Bolt the bracket and coupler using washers and a lock nut. (leaving enough gap to allow the bracket to swivel)
Remove the original boom cap and insert the new coupler/bracket.... use the original boom cap holes to bolt the coupler to the boom end.
